Terms of Service

By accessing or using Progressor ("the Service"), operated by Start.it, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Progressor is a video processing service that allows users to overlay animated GIF progress bars onto video files. Users can upload videos and GIF files, configure overlay parameters, and generate processed videos.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4.1 Credit System

• The Service uses a credit-based system. Each video generation costs 1 credit.
• New accounts receive 3 free credits upon registration.
• Additional credits can be purchased through credit packs.
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
• Credits do not expire.

4.2 Pricing

• Credit pack prices are displayed on the pricing page in USD.
• All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Changes do not affect already purchased credits.

4.3 Refunds

• If a video generation fails due to a technical error on our side, the credit is automatically refunded to your account.
• Refunds for purchased credit packs may be requested within 14 days of purchase if no credits from that purchase have been used, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

4.4 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card or banking information. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, process, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Upload content that infringes on any intellectual property rights of third parties.
• Upload content containing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content exploiting minors.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without prior written consent.
• Attempt to bypass credit requirements or manipulate the credit system.
• Overload, disrupt, or impair the Service infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice and without refund.

6.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you upload and the videos you generate. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6.2 Our Service

The Service, including its design, code, logos, and branding, is owned by Start.it and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent.

• Uploaded video and GIF files are automatically deleted from our servers immediately after processing.
• Generated output videos are stored temporarily (up to 24 hours) for download, then automatically deleted.
• We do not access, review, or use your uploaded content for any purpose other than providing the Service.
• Maximum file upload size is 500 MB per file.

• We strive to provide the Service with high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
• We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.
• We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from Service downtime.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law.

Under EU consumer protection law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, by using a credit to generate a video, you acknowledge that the digital service has been fully performed and you waive your right of withdrawal for that specific credit.

For unused credit packs, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days of purchase by contacting support@startit.agency.

• You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
• Unused credits are non-refundable upon voluntary account termination, except as required by applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence.

For EU consumers: you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
